Hello all,

Just wondering if you agree or disagree with the look of the Tommy Kaira STI V6 front bumper. I think it looks good !!
I recently bought a V6 Coupe with this bumper but have had mixed opinions. If you want a pic mail me at :

Mark,

My car is slightly damaged at the moment. It needs bonnet, Intercooler and Turbo. The bumper is perfect however.
The guy fixing the car reckons that it looks horrible.
At the moment i am in 2 minds as to whether to keep it or swap it. Car wont be ready for about 4 weeks so i will decide then. To be honest the liklyhood would be that i will change for the original. I assume you mean splitter aswell.
Any help with the previously mentioned parts would be greatly appreciated...

They do look good guys...
Any idea how much they retail at ??
I may consider keeping the bumper but in the event that i do sell it i wanted to know what they are worth. Nice in black mate ..

I 'think' they 'used' to retail in Japan at somewhere between 600-800 ukp although I do remember someone saying they could get them for around £500 over here when I was selling mine. Read into that what you will...
It does depend on the value of the Yen though.
I sold mine for what I considered to be a good price for me but also a fair price. I now regret selling it.
I would keep it and put it on the car or sell it to me for £100

I actually think they are one of the few that looks good...
in keeping with the original and not Maxpowerish.

Friends STi with Tommy used to struggle with speed bumps although that was hellishly low..

Personally I only just manage with standard bumper and standard high suspesion to get where I need to go (perhaps I should by a Landrover).... so could never put a lower front spoiler on my car.

At the risk getting shouted at, I think they look very, very nasty. (as do those awful bi-level STi spoilers).

A prime candidate for the cover of Max Power.
Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

Scoobynewboy et al,

Sorry, it's just the Ver6 (cool grey of course) is my favourite Scoob of the lot and to see one defiled by that gopping piece of kit is just too much for me......do your car a favour, get the standard front bumper, fog covers and lip spoiler on back on to it sharpish. Failing that, I know there's some 1.2 Novas meeting up at the local Sainsburys tonight for some doughnuts....you'll be welcome there...

Like I said before....

PS. did I tell you that I don't like that bumper?

juninho

Saw a few of the others on offer and all i can say is O MY GOD ..
They look like something from Knght Rider or worse like something like the A Team conjoured when locked in a barn for 12 minutes.
I will let you know as soon as the car is rightfully sorted.
I will get a better feel then as to whether it lives or flys your way. May take a few weeks though. Sorry and thanks.

I regret selling mine. I think they look good.

Trouser has one on his Fast and the Furious Scoob which does look fine.
