advice selling typeR for spares/repair
Hi Guys,
Need some advice really as sadly Im going to have to sell my type R :'(
Problem is it suffered a catstrophic timing belt failure last september and has been sat on my drive since and now has not tax and no MOT.
it is an MY00 on a V plate with and has all the usual typeR WRC ltd edition extras such as roof scoop DCCD etc but also is polybushed, STI pink suspension, godspeed front brake conversion (barely had 2000 miles on it)
Got no idea what this car is worth for sale as a repair or spares as ive been off the subaru scene for some time and so have no idea... but I do appreciate that possibly needing a top end rebuild or maybe even a full rebuold that the value of this is not going to be great but I unfortunately cant justify the cost of reapiring it just to sell it as the market seems to be in decline for this type of car.
Really appreciate any input/advice you guys can offer
Cheers
Neil

Could you not do an engine swap and just sell it on? Would be half the price of a rebuild... Failing that, your gonna have to knock 2 grand off at least. Whats the bodywork like? Post some pics up, might give people a better idea mate.
