Default A major thank you to Duncan tonight !fir getting my car ready for the Blyton sprint

Had a big problem with my sprint car and Duncan drove down from ... Miles away to offer his services again !

Time was running out as I'm on the Mazda sprint at Blyton tommorow , and had a fuel issue that was causing the car to stutter , now running 1.5 bar boost and ready to compete I cannot thank you enough mate and will bring home that trophy I promise !

All ready to go just the weather to contend with wets on as I think it's gona be showers all day .

Thanks again mate your a star !

Have a good day, glad to see you are finally getting out on track.

Any other time I would have been out with the camera, sadly no way I can get away from work tomorrow.

Would have liked to have seen your first un out.

If I didn't have this bloody eye infectgion I'd have come down as it's only a few miles away from Scunny. Never been to the new track but very tempted!

Woke this morning very early and low and behold chucking it down , went down regardless as it was the cars first outing .
The track was absolutely drenched after 5 sighting laps the open pit lane began , steady out for the first few Laps being carefull at high speeds through some corners as at 80 the car was aqua plaining.
With now heater or blower in the car the front screen was misting up do came in at 4 lap intervals (between downpours aswell ).

Had a great and by the end of the day was really going for it as my confidence grew .
Was overtaking most on track mx5 and Honda civic spinning all over the place but managed some nice Laps .
The car was setup great and cornered fantasticly, I was running with cut slicks and the grip was phenomenal considering the amount of water on track.

Dad couldn't make it with video camera do relied on my lad taking a few shots from afar .

Only issue was a split coolant hose to turbo which il be replacing with a braided one .

A big thank you to Duncan for making the car run sweet all day had a total of 35 Laps and used a tank of fuel , the sprint was cancelled as it was dangerous to set up the timing gear in the terrential rain .

I still managed to hit speeds over 100 mph and the car performed amazing I'm out again on the 29th if anyone can make it come over for a chat great day great car !
