Newage aftermarket switches for ALS and Map Switch
What have you got guys?
I've officially fitted my switches today, and they look ok, but I would prefer the more OEM style switch.
So will a fog switch work at all?
The trouble I have is I want it to look as standard as possible, but yet I would like to know for sure which map out of two I'm in. The ones I plumbed in today light up although quite faint, so that does help to know what map I'm using, but surely this has been challenged before by someone?
When I do a search with key words, clearly "switch", "map", and "anti lag" aren't the best words to use as it just pulls up anything regarding mapping etc.
Help or even pics greatly welcome.
Cheers
Rob

I use these in the blanked off bits near the hand brake like alot of others do:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_tr...witch&_sacat=0
But the switches can be wired up to anything, one of my switches was playing up so to prove the ecu it self was fine and the switch it self was dodgy duncan wired the map switch to the blower switch, so you switched it round to 1 or 2 or what ever and it switched maps. impractical yes, but a funny idea nonetheless.

So it is possible to use those switches, without relays, thats good then as I have some switches liying around
I'll make some relevent stickers for the switches for the puropose they are being used for

that took some reading buddy Photoshop is not my area of expertise im afraid. Jura is probably your man for PS. Im more of a Cad designer for graphics.
They look good I was going to use those two banks/blanks too, but then one of the switches in for the Map which I dont want in arms reach of any passanger!
Fancy running Vpower map and the passanger switches to Meth unknow to me...... eeeek.......... .....bang!
Sort of, some mappers put the switch in for 100% throttle followed by a press of the rear window demist switch.
