Default Problem help needed!

I have got a 1995 impreza and last night it started to seem to misfire when setting off it seems sluggish and choke/misfire up to around 3k revs then after that it pulls like a train but it is like that in every gear!
Any advice as to what it could be or a solution would be great?

MAF sensor or coil pack would be my guess. Either way it's a must to get it sorted. I wouldn't be driving it far

Does sound like coil packs to me. Very common problem with the early cars chap.
Remove one and have a look, you can sometimes see if they are breaking down.

When I got it there was no vent cover under the bonnet on the drivers side. It couldn't have anything to do with water getting in and being sucked in through the air filter could it????
