flat4 to the floor

my impreza is a 2003 uk spec wrx blobeye,i am led to believe my turbo seals have gone,due to light smoke on idle i.e red lights/crawling traffic nothing showing on boost or normal driving yet.i dont know the turbo type i have hence this question.would it have a specific or a range of possibilities? also if it has a certain individual turbo what would be a wise upgrade as i am waiting on a slot for remap to something a little more but not overboard.only mods that will be done is air flow,possible sti top mount??opinions on this over fmic,and 2.5" bell mouth turbo back pipe.thanks in advance.and if possible what sort of gain should i expect or could i go to on standard internals and gearbox.

thanks mate,1 on ebay added to watch list but kindly ended as advertised elsewhere added to listing but no buy it now or reserve,these types of listing pees me off.
