Being a first for me, what's the best time to arrive ? not going on track but bringing my good lady and young to watch how it's done. Will I need to park in main public area? spectator stands/area's open? Cheers all.

Mr Mellow,
Drivers briefing usually around 8.30am and cars on track around 9.00am.
Go past the main entrance to Donnington at the traffic lights, further down the road is the pit and paddock area, this is where you want to park.
Have a look for Scoobs with the names in the back windows, that should be the Notts crowd. We'll be there from around 9.30am
Cheers

What Lee forgot to mention was that there is a right turn after the lights! Mind you don't end up in the sunday market!
I'll be there in the Fiesta, no front bumper ( being painted) and BOB.T stickers in the windoes!

Spectating is normally free. Note : the last few trackzones days the cafe has been closed and there is normally a burger van at the top of the paddock car park, I think red gate pub/restaurant is sometimes open. Its fairly open to the elements so hats and gloves are a must . If you are taking kids they normally ask you not to take them in the pits or on the pit wall (for obvious safety reasons), you can however sit the grandstand next to the pits normally.
Not sure if I am going this time, I guess number of scoobynetters will be less due to the German trip and theres a GP tommorrow.
Cheers
