As far as I know it's specialist repair only. Seat foams are not a serviceable item according to Scooby dealers.

specialist repair dosent have to mean silly money, I have just had my Porsche seats done they were really bad, the bloke that did them is vaughan green, hes in Loughborough, so quite close ish to me. really cheap!! I can give you his details if you want worth a try.

As above: find a decent upholsterer. It won't be cheap, but it should be cheaper and better than fitting newer seats.
