Default Sunderland to Aberdeen in WRX 270 miles

well i've had my WRX 3 days now, it was time to see if i could do my journey to work on one tank of V-power

i was very suprised, after 135 miles the tank was still showing 3/4 full

after the full journey 270 miles i still have a 1/4 of a tank left!!

mods i have are induction kit, exhaust and possible remap!

i was quite impressed

just back from a camping trip Inverness up to North coast of Scotland and down to Ullapool then home with a few detours, probably one third single track roads, very little traffic so Enjoying the roads and managed 335 miles before fuel light came on, average just over 30 mpg! always between 27-30 mpg on road however driven which seems ok given performance.

Hmmm, I can almost do Aberdeen to Bishop Auckland (254m according to AA) on one tank in my Hawkeye WRX...

But I 'may' have a heavy foot sometimes!

Also I go A68, fun road, but not great for economy

I've never tried the A68, might give it a try on the way home on Thursday

Indeed, never really think about such things anymore due to 'big Tiff' on my sat nav!

I've heard it may be entertaining to set off the gatsos on the other side of the road... Would be terrible to waste their film though

at the weekend i had done 130 miles and was showing just under half a tank left. i went down to the modified nationals (90 miles each way) and was taking it steady, i got there and back without putting any more fuel in

i usually get about 22mpg, but when we went on holiday last year, rotherham to brighton, i averaged 36mpg
