Default 2003 wrx sti type uk

Guys just want to know if this model is good, reliable and does it have plenty of poke. Going on Monday to look at one. Pure excited like a kid at Christmas. Sorry for the dumb *** questions as I'm sure theirs plenty of other users with greater needs.

You will love it mate. I got the same engine and added a few goodies, its now running over 400bhp and it drives so nice and smooth, it really is an excllent engine with such potential!

Still love mine after almost 9 years!

A common problem on these are the rear shocks knocking (assuming its running on standard suspension). Take a look on here, there are loads of threads about it. Should have been done under warranty but it's likely to be doing it again by now. Not a major thing. More annoying knocking at low speeds more than anything.

Don't rush in to buying the first one you try. If there are things you aren't sure about, walk away. There are so many nice ones about for sale that you really can pick and choose.

I'm actually on my fifth Subaru, 4 impreza's n one legacy B4! Cannot tell u how much fun I've had in the past years! Latest one is now the one ur looking at! Got to say its a brilliant car apart from like SIrFozzalot says rear shock problems! I went straight for the BC Coilovers with top mounts, now there's no problems!

How much are u looking to spend on one? A mate of mine is selling a 2005 Sti prodive with 72k miles with diff control for around £7k! He wants a RB320 now..

Sorry mate his price is a bit of my league for now. And even I did buy it, I'd be hit for vehicle registration tax another 3000 whopper. Fecking rip off Ireland lol.. Been looking here and I could pick a bugeye for 3500 or 2003 model for about the 5000 mark. Cars have depreciated a lot around here since the recession has kicked in. Nobody wants a car now that's hard on fuel. Maybe I'm mental myself, but the way I look at it I only do about 120 miles a week, we have a second car for longer journeys if need be.....but to be honest I,l prob be in the scooby
