Default Quietest 3" bore Backbox

What is the quietest 3" bore backbox available? Revolution system is a no go as they use the slip jointed kind and I'm not buying a full system. I've been thinking about the H&S Scooby sport design one. I want to use it on track so what have you got on your cars in 3"? The rest of the system is 3" decat from turbo back.

Any opinions welcome.

Aside from the Revolution (which I have) the Miltek ones seem to be the next quietest..

On Powerstations website it says that Miltek exhausts will only fit other Miltek exhaust parts, is this completely true or are there exceptions? I'm at the moment running a JPerformance 3" system, which is in as new condition and I don't want to have to buy a full system if I can help it.

I used to have a 3" miltek system on my car, yes it was very quiet but as you said, they used their own measurements so you'd need the full system.

I'm now using a tornado system from 'scoobyparts'. Nice and quiet when you want it to be but does come to life at full chat. Is supplied with a bung which completely deadens the noise if that's what you desire.

Have a Miltek mine. It's quiet. Little louder than stock.

Thanks guys.

Matty, how will a bung affect the cars performance as I've got a bung for my exhaust at the moment. I just thought it would restrict the airflow and if it did would it be noticeable?

I have a HKS silent high power and it's really quiet unless I have the loud pedal pinned. To me it's the same as a car with PPP.

You can buy the rev system so that it couples at the DP. If you fit it up how you want it you can easily have it spot welded in place in addition if you dislike the slip ?

No probs They provide a slip jointed flange adapter to fit to a DP as if it were a normal catback set up. My friend done exactly this and then had it spot welded perfect when I buy a new one for the wagon I am going to do the same

Whats the point I this, why don't they just put 3" flanges on their pipes. Looks like a bit of a bodge if you ask me.
