Default Is going to sell up soon.

Hello all.

My current car is a Imprezax sti V5 my99. Import.

I'm starting to save up for a new car ideally diesel and am goingto put my beloved scooby up for sale.

I will stick up some pictures soon, I just need a bit of advice on the price I should sell. In my head I'm gunna put her up for £2500.

It will be ono.

Just passed mot a couple of weeks back. Tax in November. Has 91k on her. Is Micra Black. No mods, except Exhaust. Has the restrictor still.

But has some bad rust on rear arches. Which is only the major issiue with the car.

I think you will be very lucky to get that in the current market with shot rear arches, going to cost the new owner at least £1k to have that put right properly, if it looks bad from the outside then it's going to be horrendous inside.

GLWS.

Another vote for £2500 far too high a price
As pointed out above arches will cost £1000 aprox to do properly
So I would be looking at £1500-£1600 maximum

I haven't seen many import STi's from 1999 going for £1600 in fairness so I think that's a bit harsh even with shot arches surely. We're not talking about a poverty spec UK wagon (like mine which was only £1400).

"at least £1000 to do rear arches".......

Admittedly it depends how bad they are but £1000 is way over the top IMO.

I got one side done properly for £200. Another £100 completely resprayed a bashed and paint-cracked bumper.

And I'll be using the same garage when funds allow as the work is of excellent quality.
