Default Water Pump Leak, i think......... HELP

Last night i noticed water tricling from underneath my car. Just now iv had it on the jacks and it only leaks while the engine is running, or at least runs twice as fast while the engine is running i didnt hang around long enough to see if it completely stopped while the engine was switched off. I have some photos and videos of the situation and i was wondering if anyone could diagnose it. Whether it is the waterpump, waterpump gasket or anything else it could possibly be. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, Loui

I can do the pump for £25 delivered. I can't remember the condition of the gasket but if it's good I'll throw that in too. The gasket would be very cheap if it's damaged but I don't think it's damaged.

I haven't got a clutch at the moment I'm afraid but I have quite a few bits from the engine because I stripped one recently. I'll check the gasket for you in the morning It'll fit yours without doubt and it came from a 95 wrx

Here are some bits i want/need for a classic impreza wrx 1993 import:

FMIC
Prodrive alloys (like the ones below), or some other nice 17/18 inch alloys
Induction kit or panel filter

Clear Indicators
White Mud Flaps
Little Scoop Vents
Facelift interior (Seats, door cards and dash)
Pillar Boost Guage

**Preferably in red below
Fog Light covers

Hello, Yeah mate i only found out yesterday though. I though it would have just been run by the aux belt. Do you reckon it is just the water pump, or could it be more serious?

Also does anyone one have any DIY guides to changing waterpumps or clutches. I have done both before but never on a scooby.

Many thanks, Loui

I would check all the pipes first before taking it apart as thats a big leak,
Did the leak just start that size or has it got worse?

Not sure of any guides about for doing these but someone might no.

I'd take the engine out if i were you with that lot to do, as it's so much easier than talking the gearbox out on axel stands, then when its out you can get at everything, it will save you at least a day of fiddling in the bay, loads of guides on here and uporn.

Hello again, im not sure how fast it started because this was when i noticed it. Il have to look for some "hoe to guides" then on here, thanks for that and my mate has an engine crace so that will help me alot then. Il get it jacked up and check all the pipes then and the if its the pump i have got one lined up to buy. Cheers for the advice
