paint match help please
hi
i bought a set of Asuka Racing(Inovit) ST16 White alloys but as the car is a daily driver i have the inevitable few stone chips
i was told by the manufacturer that as they are made in china he couldn't give me the paint code.
i have tried my local bodyshop(they were useless!!)
i don't want to pay chipsaway or the like
so i'm stuck at the moment
does anyone have any ideas???
cheers
Nick.

any local motor factors that mixes and sells paint will match it closest as possable by going throught there colour chips. belive it or not but there are 1000's of shade of white. pop into a powder coat company as they use RAL colours and r standard through out the powdercoating industry so u might strike it lucky. and ps never ever use chips away it is acrylic basecoat they use and 1k clear coat or nail varnish for want of a better word. why people let them loose on there cars is beyond me!

i enjoyed my job painting cars but the bodyshop i worked at was mostly esure work and they have ruined the motor trade wih fixed cost repairs. u wouldnt belive some of the things i have seen done to brand new cars ie brand new crysler 300c doors skimmed top to bottom with bodge and expected a flawless finish. the trade has went down hill. still keep my hand in doing bits and bobs. yeah oil riggs is a bit of a jump haha.
