Default De cat downpipe fitting and tuning.

Im wanting to upgrade my downpipe, but cant get the answers i need. If i fit a de cat downpipe, can i somehow trick the lamdas into not throwing up a light ?
For eg, removing the 2nd lamda and leaving it connected in the atmosphere etc ? There must be a way ?? Pm me, if it is not info to share to many.
