Coil packs? HT leads? Lose or broken wire somewhere?

Can't really think of anything else, sorry.

Hi Dean. I have had the same problem (this week was the last). The AA man told me it was the crankshaft sensor. This also happened about 6 months ago so i changed the coil & checked all the wires etc but still no go, paid £90 for a mobile mr fix-it to come out and check for the problem but the car started o.k when he tryed it. This weeks fix was to disconect the battery over-night (it seams to self set the ecu or something). All running fine at the moment.

Got a new fuel pump but thats not the problem. Could be the crankshaft sensor or something to do with the ecu i have been told ??. Is there any way of checking the crankshaft sensor before i spend £100+ ?. Also had a problem with the battery going flat over-night after a full charge !.
