Default HELP - GB270 No.16

Hi there - it's been a while ! I'm looking at buying my 3rd scoob, and have the chance of GB270 No.16 - running 335bhp. I've not had a scoob for around 6 years, and have lost contact with everyone (and couldn't even remember my Snet ID !).

Two questions:
a) does anyone on here have any knowledge of No.16 - was it a members car ?
b) What sort of MPG will I get (sensible driving etc) - I've currently got a focus ST (27MPG) and a Stage 3 Cooper S (26MPG).

Many thanks
Glenn (Scoobyk)

Cheers mate, it was a work of love and money ! New one could look nice too, just wish someone on here knew a bit of history to it, or the mpg....I can handle 27 mpg, but would be concerned if the new scoob was at low 20's....anyone any ideas at all ?

As a previous owner you will pretty much know what mpg you will get. Basically the same as you got before, mods excluded. So probably about 25mpg, but about could be 22 or 27.....

Thanks, and appreciated. Life changes, my previous ownership I had no idea what MPG I got, and it was very much a weekend car - unfortnately I don't have that luxury now and will be using this as my day to day car (thus the concern over MPG, and whether anyone had any lknowledge of this car)
