Default Intercooler cover

Are these covers any good,or would they restrict airflow.
They are on e-bay don't know how to do the link.Sorry.
They are the mesh ones that cover the fins on the top
mount intercooler.

Thanks for any information.

Restrict airflow, easier to buy a intercooler splitter to cover more air flow over a top mount such as the Zerosports ones.

You will be ok as the mesh still allows air to flow through mate, I had one fitted on a old car without any trouble

It was more for cosmetic as the intercooler has a few bent fins and looks
a little on the dirty side.

Straighten the fins with a fine blade and use a bit of degreaser.

Remember it's mesh and air will flow but like the branches of a tree the surface area will restrict the amount of flow across the top mount interwarmer!
