cone/wire ring gasket advice/wanted
Car-2002 wrx sportwagon
I have a leak coming out the wire cone gasket between centre section and front down pipe.
What i would like to know is firstly the bolts look shot to sh*t if i get new bolts and springs replace and tighten will that sort the leak out.
Secondly i have seen the cone gaskets at various prices fron £2.99 to £24.00 is there any difference in a genuine Subaru part and a general exhaust parts supplier.
Lastly does anyone have the springs,bolts and cone gasket for sale.Cheers

Remove the bolts and springs then seperate the pipework,you'll soon know if the cone gasket is shot.
I have no idea on quality regarding genuine or a pattern cone gasket,apart from genuine will be more expensive.
