Parked my *** in BRZ this morning.
Just been and had a look at this earlier with mate who made me aware it was in ( Cheers Matt) in Peterborough ( there until 4pm today).
Was like walking into a nasa cleam zone with foil obsucring all the windows.
First impressions were that the BRZ looks better in the flesh. Sat on 215 17's which did look a little small. Inside was bang on, really felt like you were sitting in a sports car.
Sits fitted like a glove, the fascia was very engaging to look at too.
Engine looked good, everything really accessible in the bay.
Overall very nice
Id still rather have a 32k debt with the '12 sti that was sat across the showroom.

did you notice if any drive shafts had been uncoupled at the front????
what price were they hinting at???? the toyota version isn't launched yet till June and they are indicating 24 in the toyota showroom , which will no longer be the car infront , cos Scoobie got there first (unofficially i think)
same engine as my Leggy , but how did they get the other 45Bhp without a turbo fitted? are they also bigging-up the low centre of gravity claim??? did you get a brochure printed in Japanese???? what colour was it , and were is it gonna b tomoz.

I had a sit in it and its not too bad, but then I'm only 5'6"ish. Cheif-long-shin as the name hints is a slightly taller fellow and looked a little cramped inside. Even I didnt have much headspace.
I loved the colour but wish they would put proper rear lights on, not these clear 1999 style lexus corsa jobbies. They were saying an sti version is on the way but didnt know exactly when. Saying it would have another 40-50 horses but no sure on how they will be extracted (turbo, supercharger,NA tuning)
Didnt ask the price as its irrelevant, I cant afford a brand new car
Also only 2+2 seats which is no good for a family of 5.
Not sure why they had to resort to a cheap school disco laser machine in the dealership to promote it??

Sat in the new (blue one) BRZ , yes it felt nice. im 6-2" and there was enough space , but not for the rear passengers , didnt find it too low either. bet the cheif had probs with his feather headgear... LoL.
bit concerned about the amount of electronics creeping onto our cars.,, vvti, keyless etc.
If the future is RWD , then thats a refreshing thought , when the world was heading Fwd . ford try to put approaching 300bhp thru two front tyres with Focus and its a no-go , but you can put it thru the back pair , but if you can also bring down the weight and lower the centre of gravity yet further , , , then maybe you have something significantly better.
. . . . good Luck to the Brz
Do we want all these electronic gizmos on a car , or do with put up with in the Quest for better mpg without loosing any mile-SMILES ????
