Rim Blades - Failed
Anyone else tried this product?
http://www.rimblades.com/
I fitted them to my wheels not long ago and only just refitted the wheels to the car.
First outing and they failed.
One came off at 70mph, marked the wing with a bang and the car behind swerved to avoid it!
I followed installation guides meticulously and even did the fitting indoors in 20C dry temperatures.
Obviously being Easter I cannot contact the vendors who are local to me in Taunton.
So just wondering what your experiences are in the mean time?

My mate has them because the tyres are stretched on his rims and they finish it off. Looks ok but if you inspect them closely it would be better with proper sized tyres...But as i said above, they're range rover wheels on a van so rangie sized tyres would scrub!
Where i live its not kurbs, its dry stone walls, often collapsed and hidden in verges. Narrow roads mean you're forced to tuck in if something comes the other way...Sometimes you can't see if there's something lurking in the grass until you hear the grind of alloy! We don't all live in concrete jungles!
