because you sold your scoob does not mean you have to leave scoobynet.

I sold my one a week or two ago and bought a civic type r and I still come and post
in scoobynet as I like the peole here and I get a good laugh aswell.

but if you do decide to go then all the best to you mate.

Im 29 got six years ncb, no points accidents etc clean licence. I live in bb2 postcode and believe me if i could have kept the subaru i would have, i was quoted £8000 in my postcode. Even a well known insurance company who are well known on here wouldnt even insure me. They said it was due the postcode area. Its the same old thing, its all about the post code areas and they dont look at how good a driver is.

I have the same problem mate. I'm an old git with full no claims, and the specialist companies won't entertain insuring me. Postcode lottery.

You may find it hard to believe but just try getting a quote with bb2 or even worse bb1 and it will shock you. Just got up and its nice and sunny and missing the scoob badly.

Even for a dodgy postcode, insurance costs over five times the cars value are insane, with that having a 60% discount for your NCB that is a gross cost of £20k for insurance, I mean wtf?

I knew post codes made a difference but didn't realize it was such a huge difference.
