Default One for the sprayers amongst us

I have a carbon wrapped bonnet and sprayed the bonnet scoop black, in my defence it was a rush purchase of the paint, i bought gloss, anyhoo, after i rubbed it down to a matt/non shiny finish to laquer it, i then laquered it and its now a beautiful shiny gloss black colour, but stands out like a sore thumb against the carbon wrap

so, if i tickle it back down, spray it a matt black this time then laquer, will it stay matt or will it turn gloss again due to the laquer ?

i want to laquer it to protect it, if i leave it cellulose matt black im sure it will just chip away over time

cheers all

Yes it tends to be a little more specialized so any paint shop supply place will have it
