Maybe a mute point, but did you have the ignition switched on, not just at the "acc" position???

yes tried it in the acc position and with the engine running, nothing, you can manually pull them out so there not stuck, just wondered where they are powered from or how

Do they work say every 5th windscreen wash or something like that or maybe you have to hold the windscreen wash on for a period of time? I have them on mine but have never noticed and wet patches on the bumper indicating they work but then ive never noticed my lights being dirty either.

Not sure how the Hawkeye system works but this is for the early Hatch...... (both CanBus?)

1. Turn the ignition switch and headlight switch to ON, and confirm that the headlight washer operates with front wiper washer switch pressed ON for 0.6 seconds (approx. one second).
NOTE:
If the front wiper washer switch is released to OFF within 0.6 seconds, headlight washer will not operate.

on my hawk you have to have the headlights on and then hold the washer in for 5seconds before they spray the lights,
so your not wasting more water by washing the lights everytime you want to wash the windows

Tried all the different options stated above an still not working. Any other ideas? Is there a fuse specifically for this? I can't seem to see one

To your knowledge, has the bumper ever been off?

Not to my knowledge no. Are you thinking it may of been off and the switches not re-connected properly? If I remember correctly don't you have to take the bumper off to fit a bulb on the blob eye? Is the hawkeye the same?

My next step would be to "Take the bumper off" and check that the pump works with direct 12v feed.
The washer timer is also mounted on the back of the washer bottle bracket.

The older pumps were prone to seize but could be freed up sometimes by removing the pump case and rotating the impeller by hand.
