no such thing as far as i know. Unless the real carbon you already have is "dry" , there is no way round it. Some people laquor over the 3M di-noc stuff , which in my experience doesnt work (still doesnt look like the real deal)

thats what i was begining to think mate !
just dont know what roof would look like against rear spoiler etc if i wrap it in the dry looking stuff ,
roof could do with a paint in my ocd opinion anyway, and its only arround £40 wasted, so may give it a go???

just gloss black vinyl will look closer than carbon wrap IMO.

£40 sounds cheap , is it genuine ? Cheap stuff is rubbish.

As has been posted,Carbon Mods sell a carbon skinning kit. It's a lot more effort than just a vinyl, but it'll look exactly like real carbon, because that's what it is!
You get carbon cloth, primer/gluey stuff/epoxy & hardener in the kit for around 50 quid. Have a look there

Id like to laquer my carbon wrapped bonnet, but dont trust doing it via cellulose, the best work around i have done is to spray it with back to black, gives it a nice shine

That won't do a roof though, will do the d pillar trims though and maybe the outer door handles

i used rattle can , it seemed to fill out the wee ridges that make the illousion of CF , which makes it jus look like a shiny chequred mess.

£150 ? he was looking a cheaper alternitave to paint ! But suppose if he could get it looking like CF he might change his mind. But bear in mind , the same prep as painting my be needed before wrapping anyway (sanding/filling etc.) as it will show any imperfections the same if not more than painting.
