if i was you i would take someone who knows subarus.
its hard to tell from an advert but i would check the clutch for a start off as if its still on the original at 75k i would suggest its due a replacement shortly.
but it looks ok and its been properly mapped by a good tuner for the mods so its probably running well.

That was the first thing I asked him lol was about the clutch he seems to think its ok but I thought the same at the miles clutch is going to be need changing soon well I'm glad about the mapping and as its not heavily modded I'm hoping the engine should be relatively ok not like my last one lol

put the car in fifth on a drive at about 40 mph and put your foot down if its worn it willl slip when the boost comes in.

if you are concerned about potential problems pay a subaru specialist to check it out for your piece of mind.
a few quid now will be better than problems down the line.

when i bought my last sti , i had it checked out by a specialist and he turned up minor problems that i would have never spotted which helped with negotiating a discount on the price and also piece of mind that no major problems were present

Well decided to leave it after speaking to the seller and a lot of advice from a few members on here including a well known tuner it seemed a bit to suspicious running 1.4 bar of boost and that sort of mielage I think it's safe to say it will need a rebuild soon so back to square one think I'm gonna try sell the civic for cash and go from there cheers for all the advice guys
