Yes, but you should notice it on the road if you do have a slipping clutch Jamie. I once tried to put a low result down to a slipping clutch but quickly found out it wasn't slipping and to accept the figures, it just part of the rr lottery mate.
At one session all scoobies were down by about 50bhp each, except for a couple of evo's whose results were ok.

Hi iainmilford, thanks I was just wondering as I had my car remapped with a very high clutch soon after started to slip. Today I've had fitted a excedy clutch kit would my car seem quicker? Should be back to top performance?

Calm down, there's always going to be one or two goons out to take the ****, but the majority on here are a helpful and supportive bunch, however I've learnt to think before posting and the fact is, to ask if a slipping clutch will affect rolling road figures is a silly question, If your clutch ain't holding then it isn't transferring all the power available to the drivetrain, so yes of course it will affect the figures. If I cried at everyone who ever took **** a little bit out of me I'd have left here a long time ago, it's called banter and there is no malice intended I believe.

I asked because I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would actually make. Yes I know people are very helpfull on here and I know there going to be banter lol. I've just had a bad day! Work van broken down in london.. I live in cheltenham!

Obviously the amount of difference it would make depends on how much the clutch is slipping.

It would cause a lower reading as some of the power and torque would not be transferred to the power train. Most dynos work off the wheels or hubs which is after the clutch. The only method that would not be effected by the clutch is a crank brake.

I totally see why so many people have given up with this site, so surprised the sites still running lol. Some people need to get out more, go join a gym or something!
