Someone is intrested in swapping an Impreza for one of my cars but im not sure what its worth. Its a 99 uk turbo 2000. Mildly tuned and mapped running 280bhp with printout. Its very clean, has 115K miles on the clock and resonable history. To be honest ive always wanted one of these and white is the best colour for the classics IMO
There's usually a reason for that, make sure the front end is straight, Get the applied model code off him to find out exactly which model it is, might have someone else number plate on it

Looks like a 98 model, older front end and 2 pot front brakes.
The interior will really give it away, MY99/00 cars have a nice shiny Mono Boss on the steering wheel, the 98 just has an imprint (and a phase 1.5 engine).
Value, 1.6-2k
hmmm ok, mines an S and is that shape, i think it was actually just before the facelift actually i thought all T's were facelift? as i was told that my car which is S was borderline they changed in september 1998 or something??
Its an MY98 car, its not an MY99, it could be a very late registered one but its DEFINATELY NOT an MY99 (these have leather gaiters around the gear sticks anyway).

S 1 August 1998 – 28 February 1999
T 1 March 1999 – 31 August 1999
perhaps they ran out of bumpers and grills when they built that one so just looked in the parts bin an put it together lol nah just check its okay under the bonnet alignment etc etc should be ok, do a hpi etc..
people do change bumpers and interior parts as its easy, doesnt make it crashed, dodgy etc.
i do agree , however most dont change to make their car look older
but they will change plates to make look newer and if people dont know what they are looking for they get stung!
cheers chris ..
just looked mines a reg feb 99 so that should be facelift!
chris
It all depends, if subaru didnt sell all their old stock of cars off, then there could be previous model year cars still available, they normally drop the prices on these (as they did with the MY00 cars when the MY01's came in, £15,999) to clear stock.
Dont go by the reg, go by either the model year or better still, the vin code.
