You add this "oil" to your petrol and let us know how you get on!

oh right, just my mechanic told me to go to millers oil in leicester, and buy a can and mix it with a full tank of petrol and you can tell the difference in the speed of the car. he said track cars use it.

If you have your vehicle specifically mapped to run on the higher octane mix then yes, power gain to be had. Just adding it is a waste of money

Depending on what "Octane Booster" you use, it is possible to have your car remapped to take advantage of the extra ignition that could be applied, due to the higher octane level of the fuel.

You mechanic was right in the truest sense.

methanol is the best octane booster you can get pricewise per gain, go that route
