SPEED TRAP PC GETS PARKING TICKET!
#1
guys & gals: you'll like this, from today's daily telegraph:
SPEED TRAP PC GETS PARKING TICKET
A policeman was booked for parkig illegally as he sat in a van trying to catch speeding motorists.
The PC from Gwent Police was on duty in Cwm, Ebbw Vale, south Wales, when a member of his force issued him with a £30 fine for parking on a single yellow line. He had been sitting in a detection vehicle, operated by South Wales and Gwent forces, which use speed traps. Gwent said yesterday it would not comment on details of any matter that could go to court.
what a muppet.

i laughed a lot.
there's a clear precedent here: every time you see a rozzer doing this, simply knock on his window and advise him that he is parked illegally and then report it to the council.

You think it would be cheeky if I were to clamp his wheel too and ask for 500 quid to remove it? I mean, that should cover my fine and my insurance increase right?

Reminds me of the guy that set up "cop busters" goes around lookig for the Police carrying out motoring offences and then reports them. Unless the Police have the blues on then they have to follow the rules just like anyone else!
