Surely there were UK versions before MY97. My first Scooby was a red Turbo 2000 bought in 1996 which I'm sure was an MY96 not an MY97. This was the same year as the McRae Prodrive special editions.

And with the newage Spec C's there should also be entries for the Spec C Motorsport, which is the version made primarily for Rally car conversion.

Hawk Eye Spec C Motorsport

Thinking I should dump the V7/V8/V9 out of the listings ...before I get bored with this

Yes you are right. The first Scoob I looked at in 1996 was on an M plate and was a 1994 UK car.

You forgot about mine - 1.6GL, it's a MY93 with only 2wd and no turbo

Its not that simple, because 2001 Bugeye V7 WRX tiptronic has been like Saloon and Wagon.

But 20k has been only available as Wagon and has been available as 5speed and Tiptronic version

Hope so this will clarify

Was this a WRS? I heard about a Ltd edition Prodrive model today 1 of 25.

The picture shown to me was a green classic with the PIAA lights where the foglights normally are?

Tim about 5 years ago some fella bought some wheels from me, his car was a green 96 prodrive edition, had the fishnet style recaro seats like in the UK Mcrae edition.
