Perhaps you can help a fellow scooby owner?
Prodrive exhaust as fitted to a classic.
A owner in Germany has one and needs to get it through the TUV their MOT.
However this is far stricter than our MOT.
He needs a copy of the origonal paperwork that came with a prodrive exhaust.
1. Did the exhaust come with any technical paperwork. I sheet of A4 or whatever that says what the exhaust is? Can anyone answer this. what about the PPP package cars...any paperwork with them?
2. If so, has anyone got anything tucked away in a file that this chap could borrow and present to the TUV people?
The prodrive exhaust was a scorpion exhaust btw.
Thanks all
Steve

Right just emailed Prodrive.
No luck. They have no paperwork and have nothing on their computer.
My last chance to do this guy a favour is if someone who has a prodrive exhaust on their car can look through their stack of paperwork to see if there is anything lurking in there that was filed when the exhaust was origonaly fitted. A long shot I know!
Cheers

I dont see the issue here, that exhaust is a standard dealer option as part of the WR Sport package. . How do the TUV know its not standard, and if you put a standard back box on , how would they know that was standard?
The replacement resonated centre section and the original catted centre section look identical so the only issue can be the back box?
Perhaps the solution is to fit a standard back box for the test. However, it is no more TUV approved than the prodrive one which was a dealer fit option.
Here ia link to the WR Sport manual : http://www.subaru-impreza.org/downlo...F%20MANUAL.pdf perhaps you can use that. Otherwise there should be a part number available from Subaru for the backbox alone. If you can get that it will show it is a Subaru part.
