i went for an sti intercooler and decat with panel filter for the first time ducan came to visit and it made a massive difference. TD04 once he mapped it was unreal.... But now got a vf48 on it with bigger fuel pump is unreal.
Brembo calipers for the front if u ever get chance as well make a huge difference.
Duncan is your man - a true gent and knows the 2.5's very well.

yes i put tein springs on it. dropped a bit with them but has transformed the ride a lot. It doesnt - to want for a better word 'jiggly' ride that u get on standard springs.now like a go cart - didnt want the expense of coilovers and i dont do the track day thing just a and b roads so not worth the cash in my opinion.
Some pics on here u can see the difference - was standard wrx when i bought it..

i love it! i took your advice though and held off on the downpipe, but it fit no problems and its sounds top notch, not too loud but that perfect growl. im really happy with it, thanks again, were you able to get the wheels fitted without the wheel nuts? if so, you gotta post a pic. id like to see them on a red suby.

Keep an eye on the parts for sale section and you might pick up some Brembos if your lucky, be quick though! Failing that, jap performance parts might have some in stock? Or if you want to keep the costs down further maybe try braided hoses and a decent disc and pad upgrade.

I'll fit them tomorrow when I do the brakes.
Glad you like the system.
I'm having a bit of paint done at the weekend and a dent. A quick spoiler swap then I'll get some pics on!

Don't forget that if you replace your calipers you can sell your old ones to get some cash back, I got £150 for mine when I did that on my old WRX I went for some K-Sports on a group buy, it ended up not costing much more than some replacement pads and discs would have!

I have brembo calipers on the front of mine with standard discs and carbotech pads and tbh it stops better than it goes. Can make u feel sick no brake fade with the pads. Have got godspeed grooved discs on the rear and yellow stuff ebc pads.
The brembo calipers come up every now and then at a reasonable price and I got 175 for my old 4 pots with the discs and pads i had in them so offsets cost nicely.
braided hoses as well with some decent fluid and it stops how it should of done out of factory.
The only thing with the Brembo'sis its wheel upgrade time to get them under - but thats never a bad thing
Had 2 classics and was worried when i got my hawk it wasnt the same buzz but how things have changed now
