Default Should I cover paypal fee's ?

I have just an item on ebay and the buyer has sent payment fine but I have been charged for the transaction.
My question is should I cover the paypal fee as well as the ebay one?

I thought you had to choose the option to send the fee's to the other person ?

Thought's and experiences please,thanks

Unless you ask the buyer to send the payment as a gift (which is not a good idea for them cos they have no comeback if there`s a problem) then you pay the fees mate.

you pay the selling fee and paypal fee. Its a rip off, especially as you're forced to accept paypal as a payment method.

Theres no way out of it unless the buyer is collecting and paying cash or you return the payment and ask for a cheque to be sent.

Ebay and Paypal are owned by the same company.

I remember when they wern`t, You had 2 options back then Paypal and Bidpay(Western union MO) both were independent from ebay, You don`t have to accept paypal as a payment option, there is always Echeque,Personal cheque etc.... or direct bank transfer, but the thing that they have got covered is you get no comeback unless you pay with paypal but then that is only good for one side the person paying for the item, not the seller who is paying for the privilege of accepting paypal, They have no guarantees at all??
