NOKIA car kit

Geokat,
Mine has a bracket that goes between the console and the stereo, known as an 'invisible' bracket, since you don't have to drill any holes. I think mine was for a Vauxhall Vectra.
Looks OK but watch which screws they use to mount the cradle to the bracket as if they are too long they will rub against the console.

I thought about this for a while as well but ended up putting it where the two foglamp switches are.
If you take out the two blanks, you're kit will fit over the holes left and allow room for the cables to run through.
All you need is a piece of square plastic to fit in the back of the holes and this will retain the holder in place. The other benefit of putting it here is it is not noticeable much from the outside, when you sell the car there is no unsightly holes exposed and you can operate the phone with your arm resting on the door armrest.
If you need any help, let me know, it ain't difficult to do.
If i had a digi camera i'd let you see how it looked but i aint got one

If you have a loud exhaust, you may find that you won't be able to hear the speaker properly if it's installed in the passenger footwell.
I put mine in the drinks holder pod, by your elbow.
When you get a call, just open the pod. Works for me, after putting up with the speaker being muffled in the footwell for 8 months!
I'll post piccies, if anyone is interested!
Cheers
Andy
