Default have i fkd itt.....

i tried taking timing belt of but need to take front pulley of first so then could remove timing belt plastic cover. i tried undoing the front pulley witch to lossen ( anti-clockwise) but it didnt loosen it just span the timming belt and cams anti clockwise. i then watched a vid on youtube it said dont spin the right side lower cam anti clockwise or it will damage valves or something have i fkd it ? how can i tell

I would have thought the only time it may POSSIBLY damage the valves is if you span it with belt OFF..

Plus youre changing the heads anyway so don't worry bud.

oh cheers ste-v also this engine im striiping for this block has sti inlet on and mine hasnt would it change anythink if i put the red sti inlet on ?

I don't know about that bud, Im new to Subarus.. Cant answer that pal, sure someone who can will be along soon though
