Default Ok, I give up. Where the hell do you fit an oil catch can on a Hawkeye?

Please can someone show me where to fit an oil catch can on a Hawkeye, it still has both air pump and OEM air box. Tried loads of different options but nothing really fits/looks right.

Usually fitted to Rh side as you look under bonnet near bulk head under top strut

Mmm looked at that but my alarm siren is down there, that is the favorite at the mo will need to move the siren a bit.

Anyone got any pics please?

agree with wrx9181 but I've got a front mount. it's dead centre of the pic



Might be an omen to get a three port can

You must be running that back to sump? Because mine does a lot of short runs I will need to catch and empty to avoid water in my oil. Nowts easy is it

no mate, I just empty it a few times a year or after a track day. It hardly gets much in it. Just IMO, i don't like return to sump

Back on bulk head as shown in pic , or remove secondary air pump next to fuse box , or down next to battery & wash fluid bottle , make shift bracket should sit nice between expansion tank & wash bottle

No room next to expansion tank on mine sadly, and dont really want to remove air pump as it will need another map then. Need to have a better look next to bulkhead in the daylight me thinks.

I dont think it needs a new map if you remove the air pump. I think it just needs the fault code removing.

fit the Forge header tank whilst I had the bonnet up.

Yep done that mate, needs something for the vapour to condense onto.

Nice engine bay mate, where did you get the coolant hoses and carbon bits from?

looking at doing a few bits to mine whilst its off the road for a bit
