Brute force ??

04 wrx blobeye
to get the plastic centre section off,where the clock is do i just prise it off?was tempted to try but thought i better ask first.

yep well i did on my 05 wrx mate just pulls up and off only thing thats got screws on mine is the air vent 3 screws underneath it and 2 at the bottom of the main center panel.

it seems to come away alright nearest the screen but the other side wont budge.

as said before mate on my 05 (late 05) it just pulls off as i done it the other weekend but not sure if the 04's are the same i presume they would be, sorry i can't really help more than this.

should pull up easy enough, one end will be clipped in differently from the other, so if your not having any luck try pulling from the other end

At last,i lifted the back then pushed towards the screen out it came.Then i looked at the Defi one which was going to be fitted.........the two front clips are broken off.So now i am looking for a brand new one

i have bought a new Defi pod from Revolution.I should have looked at the one that came with gauges a bit more closely.
