Question Fibre glass Advice please!!

right as the title suggest its not for a scoob but another car . i am tempted to take of the door trims . but there is a about 12 (2 cm hole )over the door panel where the trim attaches to the 106 . so will fibre glass from the inside be ok , then body fill and spray it to the same colour as the 106 bodywork work ??

also where is the best place to get:
home kit of fibre glass from ?
best body filler
which grades of wet n dry sandpaper to use

Cheers

i used the halfords crap fiber glass kit and also p38 filler. to sand down the filler i use a very ruff paper then worked down to a fine one, before it went for painting i resanded the whole car down.

for other things i've done with fiber glass on my pass cars -

Rover 25 detooth grill and smooth

Smooth tweeters for a fissta mk5

Smooth Gague in vent for a MG ZR

if you sit down and plan it mate, you be fine, just remember to put light layers for filler or you be there for hours rubbing down lol

As mentioned, weld up the holes, then lightly fill. The less filler you can use, then better as its less likely to crack or shrink over time.
