fuel gauge on a classic

Default fuel gauge on a classic

anyone here got a classic when i put fuel in its real slow at showing any change....if its empty and you fill it till it brims it takes around 5 mins to show full...is this norm??

My classic takes around 20 seconds for it to read from empty to full.

Mine goes DOWN quicker than it comes up

Seriously, it can take a couple of minutes to read full from a brimming from near empty.

mine also goes down much quicker!!

just thought the sensor in the tank might be on its way out since it takes sooo long to show true reading
