oil pressure and boost,psi or bar?

Default oil pressure and boost,psi or bar?

just about to order my gauges,does it make any difference if i get psi or bar?cheers

I prefer psi myself but doesn't really matter I suppose.. Cant see any reason why it would..

ive ordered prosport stepper ones and he has just emailed saying they have to be both the same,ill just go for psi i think

dont see why they have to be the same, run from different sources. one is air pressure/vaccuum and other is oil fed pressure

Most Defis are in Bar like mine. I prefer this but it's more a case of what unit you are familiar with. If you don't understand the reading on the gauge it's pointless so go with what you prefer not what other people have.

So what PSI should the pressure be at idle, normal driving and hard driving. I've only heard people talking about bar and I don't know how much PSI to bar etc

1 bar = 14.5psi american imperial/british imperial

Metric for pressure is pascal(SI unit)

convention is psi for oil pressure and bar for boost but you should go with whatever feels right for you.
