hmmm something not right with this car advert!
Just found this on pistonheads
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3547628.htm the text in the advert for this car is actually a decription of my Type25 that I was selling with the colour changed from blue to red!! The person doing the advert has just copied and pasted, that car is NOT build number 47 Type25 that is for certain!!
The car is then advertised on autotrader http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...72lg?logcode=p
here in the heading it states it is a MK2 Type25 build 47 but then in the body text of the advert it says it is a Type20,hmmmmm seems the seller doesnt know what it is.

I didn't want to say that this person was setting out to scam anyone and am preferring to think that they just dont know exactly what they have and have made a mistake though it all seems a bit fishy!

They even took the time to photoshop the 'GB' off the number plate so it looked like it was euro registered!
I've had constant hassle from obvious scammers and im sick of it. It's made me regret putting it up for sale to be honest, just not worth the risk.
If anyone's thinking of selling, take extra care at the minute. Scooby's seem to be attracting the euro scammers.
