Default Is there any way to tell

If your STI spoiler is an original ?

Only asking as i have been doing some research as i want a set of Perrin Stiffies for my spoiler and notice i have the 2 little bolt holes on the upper level , so just wondering if it could be an official product ?

There should be five sets of holes on the underside of the top of the spoiler. And when you open the the boot on the underside of the outer edge at each end ( where it overhangs the boot )there should be screws as well.

Thankyou very kindly sir , been out for a gander and its all adding up ive got the holes on the underside and the screws on the overhang. Suppose it makes no difference in the real world but im

VERY difficult, since copies are made by making a mold from a genuine one, so that the copies come out looking genuine.

My first one, a copy, had all the correct markings on it's base, but was fibreglass

Yes but all the screws I mentioned mean you can split the original in two where as I believe the copies are one piece?

Nope, mine split as did the copies.
As I said, it was IDENTICAL except for being f/glass.

Ok. There must be other non IDENTICAL lol copies that don't split! When I ran the group buy on the wing stiffies there were several people who couldn't get involved cause theirs wouldn't split.
