Default Rust repairs

Hi folks just after some info, been looking for a DMB classic for a while now and found 1 that I quite liked, problem is is the rear arch has rusted, common I know but just wanted to know how much I'd be looking at to repair,
It's bubbled on the outside of the panel just above very corner of bumper where the 2 meet, and inside the wing looks like its eaten through the metal that the bumper bolts up to, other side could do with being done too,
So how much would I be looking at to get this sorted?
Cheers

Before you repair it m8 put your hand up the arch right into the top and feel for rot or holes if there's any, repair that 1st or the work you do will be a waste of time, will be back in 6 months

My car is in the paint shop as we speak.

I noticed a few minor bubbles last year and decided to tackle the job myself. Did a pretty good job but recently the bubbles reappeared.
It's now having a new piece of metal put in on one side and a dent filled on the other. Both rear quarters prepped and painted to a high standard, £400 plus the vat.

Ive heard the front o/s wing is an exact template for n/s rear quarter and vice versa for the other side so you can use front wings to repair rear quarters???

had mine done about 8-9 months ago, both had corroded badly to the point where the bumper fixing holes were non existant and had corroded inside the arch as well.

cost me £1800 but that was to more or less have the whole car painted minus the roof but to have the arches repaired with fresh metal and not just filled was £800 if I remember but as with any body repairs you get what you pay for and the paint work on my car after a good wash and polish looks as good now as it did when it was first painted.

I would say that dont take it somewhere that will just fill it full of filler as you will end up spending double like I did as these repairs have cost me the best part of £2500 as the first guy did just use filler and within 6 months it began to bubble again.

Do it once do it right

The body shop doing it are very well known around my way and the job will be perfect.
Needed new metal on one side, £400 plus the vat all in.

Blow me! From a quick look round the front wing profile looks suspiciously like the opposite side rear wing profile. May be close enough to use. Going to see my local panel beater next week to see what he says. Fingers crossed
