Some effing tosser has decided scratch the paintwork on my Scooby. Fortunately they aren't that deep, so I was wondering if there are any products that will 'cover them over' in some way.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wuss.

Some people just have no respect Nowadays. Drives me insane!!!!! Amount of sleepless nights I had watching over my pride and joy beggars belief. Might fit a security camera to keep those learing scumbags away!!!! Best thing to do is go down to Halfords. Tell them you're predicament. They're staff are so friendly- they really are!!!
hope this helps MAte Pops

Turtle Wax do a little kit which includes a coloured wax, rather like a lipstick, called "Chipstik". The dark blue is an excellent match to DBM. Obviously this is not a permanent repair but i`ve found it a better match than the Subaru touch-in paint!
Got mine from good old Halfords.

Accidentally scratched my Wrx going into the garage..grrrrrr.

Put one hell of a scratch down the side..grrrrrr

Thought this is the end...grrrr

Went to bodyshop and told me 4-500 quid for the panel to be resprayed...grrrrr

He told me about some magic stuff that gets scratches out. Said i would not have a hope of getting this mother out though.

Thought f*** it and went to buy me a tube of 'G3' superfinish rubbing compound (comes in a yellow tube).

10 mins later the scratch was no more. Apply like car wax..just rub the mother in. Takes most scratches away. Did mine!

Saved myself 500-5.95 = £494.05p

Get some and try. Nothing ventured.....

Might not sell it in Halfords. Most hardware shops have it. Ring around and ask.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Guys!

Superb advice, I'm feeling a lot more positive now. Just hope the little f**ker doesn't return to finish the job.

Thanks again.
