Thats strange Alan, considering it was initially developed in January 2008 on my last race car between Simteks Andy Leech and myself!!

Short answer is its much better than any stand alone Nitrous controller on the market. I removed a Wizard of Nos Max Extreme system to develop the Simtek into a full wet or dry capable progressive nitrous controller.

do you know how much the upgrade costs andy ?
im thinking of only using a small shot circa 50, would this be ok injected into the intercooler pipe or is direct port much better ?

Depends on your mapper, but similar to ALS/Launch from most of them.

A 50 shot is ideally injected just before the throttle body, no need to go direct port until well over 100 shot.

Also just buy a bottle, Nitrous solenoid and pipework. The Simtek will take care of the fueling side via the injectors and also controls the actual power gain by pulse width modulation of the Nitrous solenoid so no need to buy a set of jets either.

Ok Andy, maybe Alan should have said we were one of the first to retail it and use it on a customers road car rather than fit it to a development HACK albeit a very, very quick one.
Either way, we have been there and done it too and as the customer is only 50 miles up the road from us

Martyn

If you want it sorting Ric, feel free to give me a ring.
