Question V6 sti splitter/lip?

Like the one below

Where can i buy one?
Have searched eBay and HT autos and a couple of Subaru online shops but still can't find one.

Did a search on here and found one on some random Japanese site and they wanted £200 before delivery

Any help/ideas?

Scoobyworld do them but aren't cheap. Prices rocketed thanks to the exchange rate as I want one for my silver MY99 wagon mate.

Cheaper and free delivery. I can vouch for Neil and the guys @ Scoobyworld being good chaps.

Subaru do them. Authentic V6 splitter. About £130 in black.

Search on here and you will even find the part nos for the part and the fitting kit.

This.

Interested.

You mean you could pick one up from a Subaru dealer, gen part etc. for less than Scoobyworld want? Usually t'other way round but I'd be interested to finish the front end of my wagon off, Chris. If you find said part nos. let me know - I'll owe you a beer if it works out cheaper

To be fair Andy I don't know the exact prices today. Here are the part nos and prices from early 2010:

V6 Splitter available via main dealers:

Part numbers - prices maybe a bit out by now.

57796FA530NN - Spoiler/Splitter x 1 @ £94.85
57728AC090 - Bumper Clip x 2 @ £0.66
57798FA100 - Protector x 1 @ £13.78
57728FA080 - Screw Grommet x 9 @ £0.38
904560009 - Screw x 9 @ £0.13

Will need painting of course. I didn't bother with the protector.

Hiya Chris, just found this thread after a quick search. Seems about £165 is the price for the spoiler now although I presume the price fluctuates with the exchange rate.

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...splitters.html

Either way, some useful info. and when I have the means I'll give Subaru a ring and price one up. At worst I'll probably pay Scoobyworlds price unless Subaru do offer them cheaper.

Re. paint - can you not leave it as the colour of the sideskirts? Or will it come in a murky primer colour and not black?

F1-fan this is excellent - thank you! I have also been looking for a v6 splitter for some time but couldn't find one.

Never thought of trying Subaru, I guess because i thought it was a JDM part and wouldn't be available in the UK.

What is the 'protector'?

Thanks!

No worries, it comes exactly the same colour and finish as the sideskirts if they aren't colour coded.

Don't bother with the protective strip, it sits betwen the bumper and the splitter and isn't needed, looks better without.

Make sure you get the right clips though as when you are moving rapidly shall we say there is quite a lot of force on the splitter so it needs to be attached properly

No worries - you need the part numbers as most dealers are a wee bit inept and can't find it on their parts database without the part numbers.

As for the protector see above... just a little bit of rubber that sits between the spliter and the front bumper. Not necessary and looks better without especially if you are colour coding.
