hi all , so ive had my boost guage fitted by a pro and its been fine , but recently ive had my car mapped and it now makes 1.5 bar my boost guage was working for 30 minutes or so , but then stopped reading boost pressure ?! its an apexi guage and it still lights up and everything so its not electrical fault ? thought it may be the vacume hose ? but all seems fine

any ideas anyone ? i really must fix it sharpish

So its a mechanical gauge, the electrics are separate, but it doesn't rule out issues with the hose. I'd replace the section of hose going to the gauge to be sure. Just a small pin hole can affect a reading.

Are you sure it hasn't blown off the vacuum hose?

yea im sure mate everything looks ok with the piping ? might take it all out plug the end and blow through it to see if there is any small holes ? because silicone does heal up pretty well and hard to spot a hole if its got a flappy bit ?
