Default launch control

does any one have one fitted to there classic im thinking of getting one fitted but have heard some bad storys about them can any one recomend a good kit to use.

there arnt no kits mate its ecu logged, alll depends on bhp/running gear, i have it on my 95wrx running 352bhp on standard running gear and its touch and go if it pops

As already said, its a feature on aftermarket ecu's, best left to the pro's tbh, quickest way to destroy your turbo if you dont know how to use it correctly

What about a bee r rev limiter and launch control kits are they bad for ur car

i have it on my bugeye wagon , FUN FUN FUN ....throttle flat in first gear , blips at around 5000 revs and stays there , pop the throttle and hold on , I dont use it all the time that woldnt be the best thing to do , only used it 6 or 7 times but hey the cars are built for that !!!

launch control is MENTAL! One of the best features from my ecu and great fun, but as a few have said above you need a gearbox/clutch that can hack it otherwise stuff will break !

yeh i have an uprated clutch , standard gearbox tho , no probs so far *fingers crossed* always puts a smile on ya face

suppose but its easier to hold it at 5grand with your foot on the floor , then POP the clutch woohoooooooo

oh right, so you can build 1.5bar of boost at the start line with just your right foot can you

not quite , 1.3 bar .......foot to the floor, hold the clutch the engine just parp parp parp needle stuck at 5 grand , then let her go

lol wasn't referring to you bighoose just saying launch control builds boost as well it isn't just a rev limit
