Think it's fine either way. If you'd rather facelift go for it, it's still a classic Scoob at the end of the day and if you keep the old parts you can always return her to standard at any time.
Personally I prefer the look of the facelifted cars, but there isn't much in it. The pre-facelifts look fine too.

Cheers Boys, mnem1c your car really is night and day in those pics. Looks great
How much did it set you all back if you mind me asking?
I would probably start off with the headlights, bonnet and grill first, not too bothered about the bumper at the moment.

Thats what i did. Changed the bumper at a later date. The only thing thats tricky is finding parts in the right paint code and in good nic. Also when you chance your bonnet try and get an alloy one. There alot lighter. I found my parts through breakers and ebay. Bonnet around £150, grill £50, standard lights £50. Hope this helps

I'm happy with my pre facelift and wouldn't change it, but admit the facelift cars look nicer, but I'd just keep mine and buy an rb5 or sti6 if I wanted to go that way, a fast prefacelift seems to surprise people more as it looks more innocent..

Tbh I like both, but you hardly see any pre-facelift cars around and tbh I prefer them.
I did think about putting facelift lights and grille on as that can look ok, but in the end I thought no and stuck with my preface lift car.
